As much as many people like to complain about the government, this is one project that has been done well.ADOT and the contractors deserve praise for getting this major task nearly completed 6 months ahead of time AND under budget.
Although it was inconvenient at times, the frontage roads were made adequate to shuttle
traffic north and south to down town streets with relative ease.

one of the 4 lanes north to Costco.
By the way, the Prius got between 48 and 52 mpg
on our trip. That includes mountain driving.
