Mountain Jungle

Puerta Vallarta lies along the Bay of Bonderas, the second largest bay in the world, and along the jungle mountains of the western Sierra Madres. Yesterday we visited a large Botanical Gardens and today walked up a great distance to a small private gardens with a great little restaurant by a river. Many Many birds. Nice people along the way.

Rain in Puerto Vallarta

Raining today in Puerto Vallarta. It rarely rains all day. Usually just the morning hours. This is really a soaker. Unfortunately, due to modern technology, I checked the weather channel and it says rain here until Friday.

Too much information. Unless your are a Pelican there is not much to do but eat, drink and read. The only other two games in town are beating your partner at gin or playing water volley ball. We passed on the later.
