Cancer doesn't take a holiday

I had my 6 month follow up at the Arizona Cancer Center. Although the staff does everything to be cheerful, it can be depresing.
Even though I am doing well and am "cancer free", many of the folks there aren't doing as well. People thin as a rail with sparse heads of hair, walking with canes are reminder of the devastation of this disease.

And here is a photo of "Roxy". She is a therapy dog who this year had surgery, radiation and
chemothrapy for cancer. Now Roxy visits the cancer
center nearly every day to cheer up patients.
