A picture of our health care system

Our health care system looks like this:

We will pay $2.5 trillion in 2009. Way more than any other country.

Yet our quality of care, measured  by life expectancy and other parameters, is not greater.

Our system is inefficient, filled with waste, often ineffective and worse;  more than 46 million, many of them children,  lack heath care coverage.

We cannot wait any longer to fix this picture.
